Dr. Micah Mitchell is an internationally renowned prophet, charismatic leader, worshiper, author, and speaker. He holds an honorary Doctorate in Divinity. He committed his life to Jesus at the age of three and was baptized in the Holy Spirit at four. By the age of seven, he began to prophesy, and at ten, he preached his first crusade, where hundreds of young people came to Jesus.
Dr. Micah attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX, where he had a significant and impactful season. However, in early 2013, his life took a drastic turn as he began experiencing physical symptoms that marked the start of a fierce battle. Doctors delivered devastating news: he had cancer and a grim prognosis, including a future of disability. Faced with the unthinkable, Dr. Micah made a pivotal decision. He boldly declared:
“I will live, I will not die, and I am determined to proclaim the works of the Lord!”
Determined to walk in faith, Dr. Micah boldly declared he would preach the Gospel in South Africa and then around the world. In 2015, he moved to South Africa and finished the year strong, taking the Gospel into various countries in Africa. During this intense time of ministry, he met the love of his life, Kerry Mitchell. Dr. Micah proposed to her on November 1st, 2015, and 29 days later, he planned a surprise wedding. He now has a beautiful family that travels with him wherever the Lord leads.
International Ministry Impact
Over the years, Dr. Micah has ministered in eight nations—South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay—bringing healing, revival, and prophetic insight to countless lives. His international ministry has been marked by miracles, deliverance, and a strong prophetic anointing that has ignited revival in multiple regions.
Dr. Micah also carries a unique grace and anointing for government and the marketplace. In Argentina, he and his wife found favor and received a personal invitation to the Pink House (Casa Rosada), the office of the President, where they had the rare opportunity to prophetically minister to government officials. While in South Africa, Dr. Micah regularly ministered to executives in the banking and insurance sectors, bringing prophetic strategy, wisdom, and kingdom solutions to influential business leaders.
In the United States, Dr. Micah has had opportunities to enter political arenas, witness to government officials, and see them surrender their lives to the Lord—many of whom have also been filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. His prophetic voice has reached leaders in key positions, demonstrating that God is actively moving within governments and high places of influence.
In addition to his traveling ministry, Dr. Micah has had the privilege of planting two churches—Sow Love International in Cape Town, South Africa, and The Lighthouse to the Nations in Iowa. His heart for building strong, Spirit-filled communities has made a lasting impact in these regions, equipping believers to walk in power and purpose.
Beyond church planting, Dr. Micah has pastored and served on the boards of ministries across the world, lending his wisdom, leadership, and prophetic insight to help guide and strengthen the body of Christ. His passion for training and equipping leaders has also led him to teach at Bible colleges throughout the world.
Dr. Micah’s impact extends far beyond his personal ministry—he has many spiritual sons and daughters across the world who are boldly preaching the Gospel, seeing souls come into the Kingdom, and turning the world upside down for Jesus. A Life Marked by Miracles
In 2020, Dr. Micah faced cancer for the second time. Just seven days post-op from back surgery, he fell down the stairs, and during that ordeal, doctors discovered renal cancer. Over the next few years, he underwent cancer treatment, two hip surgeries, knee surgeries, and abdominal surgery.
Then, in 2023, doctors found a rare tumor on his vocal cords. During the surgery to remove the tumor, Dr. Micah’s heart dropped to four beats per minute twice. While in the recovery room, Dr. Micah died, and the doctors were ready to give up on him. In that moment, he had a profound supernatural encounter where he found himself in a white room. An angel appeared to him and said:
“God is not finished with you yet, keep breathing and don’t stop.”
After this encounter, Dr. Micah’s life was forever transformed. He made a firm, unwavering commitment to not only walk in the miraculous power of God but to raise up others to do the same. His passion became more than just preaching—it became a divine mandate to equip, activate, and send believers into their God-ordained destiny.
Dr. Micah’s mission is to establish a lasting legacy on the earth, ensuring that future generations understand that they are not meant to live ordinary lives but to demonstrate the supernatural reality of God’s kingdom. He teaches and imparts the revelation that every believer is designed to be a miracle, a sign, and a wonder, according to Exodus 34:10. He emphasizes that just as God testified of Jesus through miracles, signs, and wonders, He will also testify of His people, as seen in Acts 2:22.
