We Don’t Just Preach It—We Live It

Dr. Micah Mitchell

I normally wouldn’t post something like this… but I felt like someone needed to read it.

Maybe to stir your faith. Maybe to remind you that God still provides seed to the sower.

“If you wanted to give but didn’t have anything—come to the front.”

That’s what I said tonight.

At first… silence.

You could hear a pin drop. No one moved.

Then—a woman with tears in her eyes ran forward.

Her obedience broke something open in the room.

One act of faith shifted the entire atmosphere.

After that, others followed. By the end, about 15 people were standing in front of me.

I took what I had—around 3,000 pesos—and began dividing it between them.

Then I laid hands on each one, rebuked the spirit of poverty, and released this declaration:

“Lack is broken. You will not live in the cycle of not enough. God is releasing increase, favor, and supernatural supply.”

It wasn’t about the amount. It was about the anointing.

And the obedience of one woman opened the floodgates for many.

Later that night, I texted my wife Kerry to tell her what had happened.

Her response?

“That’s wonderful! I love to sow seed. Good job, babe.”

That meant everything to me.

Knowing she’s happy—even while I’m in Mexico and she’s in Louisiana—reminds me how deeply connected we are.

She carries the same heart—to give, to bless, to build people. That’s the real reward.

We don’t just preach it. We live it.

This is Kingdom. This is who we are.

And we will never stop sowing.

“Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”

2 Corinthians 9:10 (NASB)
