Quick Recovery – Day 3: Wisdom for Increase

Dr. Micah Mitchell

Isaiah 58:8 (NASB) — “Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery will spring up quickly; And your righteousness will go before you; The glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.”

🔥 When God Restores, He Multiplies!

Recovery in the Kingdom is not just about getting back what was lost—it is about stepping into something greater. When God restores, He does not just return things to their previous state; He increases, strengthens, and expands your capacity to receive and sustain more.

David at Ziklag lost everything, but when he pursued, he not only recovered all but gained the enemy’s spoils. (1 Samuel 30:8,18-20) The woman with the issue of blood was not just healed—Jesus declared her whole. (Mark 5:34) Job didn’t just get back what he lost—he received double. (Job 42:10)

God’s restoration is not just about reclaiming what was taken—it is about positioning you for greater. But increase is not automatic. It requires wisdom, maturity, and discipline.

🔥 Restoration Requires Wisdom & Stewardship

Many people receive breakthrough but lose it because they lack the wisdom and discipline to sustain it. Restoration is not just about receiving—it is about stewarding what God gives you so that you never lose it again.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NASB)

Increase requires:

🔥 Wisdom to maintain the blessing.

🔥 Discipline to sustain what has been restored.

🔥 Maturity to handle more than before.

But here’s the good news—wisdom is not hard to access. God gives wisdom freely to those who ask.

“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5, NASB)

Wisdom does not come through effort—it comes from abiding in the secret place with God. The more you dwell in His presence, the more you receive divine strategies, clarity, and discernment. Without wisdom, increase can become overwhelming. But with wisdom, you are positioned for long-term breakthrough.

God does not just restore—He equips. Every battle you’ve faced has given you the tools to sustain the blessing He is releasing.

🔥 Nothing is Wasted—God Restores Time & Dreams

Many believe they have lost too much time, but God is the Redeemer of time.

“Then I will compensate you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust.” (Joel 2:25, NASB)

What looked like wasted years were actually preparation. The enemy stole time, but God is accelerating what took others years to accomplish. Your delay was not denial—it was positioning.

And for those who feel like their dreams have died—God is not just restoring what was stolen, He is resurrecting what you thought was impossible. Many have given up on the visions and dreams God placed in their hearts, but restoration is not just about what you lost—it is about what God is bringing back to life.

Tomorrow, we will step into the restoration of dreams—because God is not finished with what He has placed inside of you!
