The Lord Is My Strength: Walking in Supernatural Endurance

Dr. Micah Mitchell

Life will always present challenges, but those who trust in the Lord do not rely on their own strength—they draw from the limitless power of God. When we lean into Him, He renews us, empowers us, and enables us to walk in supernatural endurance.

“Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.” – Isaiah 40:31 (NASB)

Weariness is not our portion. Fatigue is not our destiny. God has given us the ability to rise above natural limitations and operate in His supernatural strength. The pressures of life may try to weigh us down, but as we wait on the Lord, He infuses us with power that lifts us higher. We do not run out—we run over!

When we function in God’s strength, we don’t just survive—we thrive. His power sustains us, His grace carries us, and His Spirit equips us for every assignment. No obstacle is too great, no burden too heavy, and no situation too difficult when we are strengthened by the Lord.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart triumphs, And with my song I shall thank Him.” — Psalm 28:7 (NASB)

Prophetic Decree:

I decree and declare that the Lord is my strength! I do not rely on my own ability—I am empowered by His Spirit. Weariness has no hold on me. I rise above every challenge, running and not growing tired, walking and not fainting. I am filled with supernatural endurance, equipped for every good work. No obstacle can stop me, no weight can hold me down, and no battle can overtake me. The Lord is my strength, my shield, and my victory! In Jesus’ name, amen!
